Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines prohibited uses of Roomspo's AI room design service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

1. Purpose

Roomspo is designed to help users visualize interior design ideas through AI-powered image generation. This policy ensures the Service is used responsibly, legally, and ethically. By using Roomspo, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Prohibited Content

🚫 You may NOT upload or generate:

Illegal Content

Content that violates any local, state, national, or international law
Content depicting or promoting illegal activities
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content exploiting minors
Content that violates export control or sanctions laws

Violent or Harmful Content

Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
Content depicting weapons used in threatening contexts
Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism

Sexually Explicit Content

Pornographic or sexually explicit imagery
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Content sexualizing minors in any way
Content promoting sexual services

Hateful or Discriminatory Content

Content promoting hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
Content promoting harassment, bullying, or intimidation
Content depicting hate symbols or extremist imagery

Deceptive or Fraudulent Content

Content intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others
Deepfakes or manipulated images used for fraud
Content impersonating others without consent
Phishing or scam-related imagery

Privacy Violations

Images containing identifiable people without their consent
Private or confidential information (documents, IDs, etc.)
Images taken in private spaces without permission
Content violating someone's reasonable expectation of privacy

3. Intellectual Property Restrictions

You may NOT:

Upload copyrighted images you don't own or have permission to use
Generate designs that infringe on copyrighted works, trademarks, or patents
Use trademarked logos or branding without authorization
Reproduce copyrighted artwork or designs without permission
Create derivative works from copyrighted material without authorization

Note: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any images you submit to Roomspo.

4. Prohibited Activities

4.1 System Abuse

Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
Rate Limit Circumvention: Attempting to bypass rate limiting or usage restrictions
Trial Abuse: Creating multiple accounts to exploit free trial offers
Credit Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate or exploit the credit system
System Overload: Intentionally overloading or disrupting our infrastructure

4.2 Reverse Engineering

Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
Probing or testing the Service to discover vulnerabilities
Attempting to access source code or proprietary algorithms
Using the Service to train competing AI models

4.3 Resale & Redistribution

Prohibited: Reselling Roomspo as a white-label or competing service
Prohibited: Offering Roomspo's functionality as part of another service without authorization
Allowed: Using generated images in your own projects, marketing, or client work
Allowed: Sharing generated images on social media with attribution

4.4 Account Sharing

Sharing account credentials with others
Using a single account for multiple users or organizations
Transferring or selling your account to another party

5. AI-Specific Guidelines

🤖 Responsible AI Use

Transparency: Disclose when images are AI-generated if used in professional contexts (e.g., real estate listings)
No Misrepresentation: Don't present AI-generated images as real photographs when accuracy matters
Ethical Use: Use AI responsibly and consider the impact of generated content
Quality Standards: Don't intentionally generate low-quality or nonsensical outputs to waste resources

6. Enforcement

6.1 Violation Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in:

Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary account suspension
Permanent Termination: Serious violations (illegal content, abuse) result in immediate permanent ban
No Refunds: Accounts terminated for violations are not eligible for refunds
Legal Action: Illegal activity may be reported to law enforcement

6.2 Detection & Monitoring

We use automated and manual methods to detect violations:

Automated content filtering and moderation
User reports and flagging system
Periodic manual review of flagged content
Pattern detection for abuse and fraud

6.3 Appeals Process

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting support@roomspo.com (subject: "Account Appeal") within 30 days. Include:

Your account email address
Explanation of why you believe the action was in error
Any supporting evidence

We will review appeals within 7 business days. Our decision is final.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately:

Include: Description of violation, account/content involved, and any evidence
Response Time: We investigate reports within 48 hours

All reports are confidential. We do not tolerate retaliation against users who report violations in good faith.

8. DMCA & Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Roomspo infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice to:
